So fresh and good. Went on a Saturday and there was a long wait but worth it, if you want to avoid crowds, probably best to go on a weekday

A local taxi driver recommended as most fresh sushi restaurant. Enjoy not only fishes but also Japanese soup made from the bony parts of seafood.

This shop is popular and always crowded, but I'm lucky if I can park it in the parking lot.The order is to fill in the order except for lunch, and the type of fish changes depending on the season, so you can eat rare items every time you go.I was satisfied because I was hungry for sushi with a budget of around 3,000 yen per person. There are high-class sushi restaurants in Shiogama, but I recommend sushi that you can easily eat.

Nice atmosphere. the staff is really helpful and provided us with an English menu. Aside from that, they made recommendations of the best choice of the day. Also the food is really good. The tuna taste amazing! And the price is very reasonable (for other Dutch-people: it is cheaper than an all-you-can-eat restaurant in the Netherlands and the quality is way way better). The chef even tried to speak some Dutch =)

All the sushi and chawanmushi were so good!

The Γ£ΒȋΒΕΈΓ£ΒΒ¦ is to die for. Looks a little blue-collar, but the sushi is better than most high-end restaurants offer.

Shiogama has some very fancy sushi places with prices to match. Then there is Shiogamako, which uses very fresh fish, has some interesting local items (try jellyfish anyone?), and is surprisingly affordable for what you get (you can have a nice dinner for under 2000 yen). My local Shiogama Japanese and foreign friends love this place and I see why. One of the English teachers even translated the menu into English so if you need it, just ask!
